Auto Finalize Task Type Example

This task requires System Access to the Task Manager in the System area in Setup.

Use the Auto-Finalize task type to automatically ‘check’ and create Roster records in the past. This task turns projected records (not checked) into actual records (checked). Only checked records display in reports. The Finalize function locks Roster records in place. Only authorized and specific personnel can modify a finalized record.

Important: Do not finalize a future date, doing so will lock the Roster and may interfere with general staffing processes and scheduled automation workflows.
