Auto-Fix Task Type Example

This task requires System Access to the Task Manager in Setup > System.

Use the Auto-Fix task type to automatically ‘check’ and create Roster records in the past. This task turns projected records (not checked) into actual records (checked).

Note:

Only checked records display in reports.

  1. Go to the Task Manager in the System area in Setup to create a new task.
  2. Click Add
  3. Enter a name for this job in the General tab.
  4. Leave the remaining and default settings as is.
  5. Click the Task tab to create a task.
  6. Enter a name for this task in the Task tab. Generally, the same name provided in the General tab is used here.
  7. Select Auto-Fix in Task Type to fix the Roster for the target period, the selected Shift, and Region.
  8. Set your From Date* and Through Date* values. Use Dynamic Dates to target a date range. Dynamic Date entries are case sensitive. Some examples below:
    • To target the second day in the past, type TODAY-2DAYS in From Date. Type TODAY-2DAYS in Through Date.
    • To target the past two days, type TODAY-2DAYS in From Date. Type TODAY-1DAY in Through Date.
    • To target the previous three days, type TODAY-3DAYS in Through Date. Type TODAY-1DAY in From Date.
    • To target yesterday’s date, type TODAY-1DAY in From Date. Type TODAY-1DAY in Through Date.
    • To target the past fourteen days, type TODAY-14DAYS in From Date. Type TODAY in Through Date.
  9. Leave the remaining and default settings as is.
  10. Click Save.
