Lock |Unlock Leave Threshold

Authority permission Calendar: Leave Threshold Override must be granted.

The lock feature is used to halt the automatic approval of leave requests associated with the selected leave thresholds. To resume automatic approvals unlock the field.

To lock and unlock leave threshold counts on the Threshold Calendar:

  1. Choices are:
    • Lock one record: Place your cursor in the desired threshold count field and click Lock.
    • Lock multiple records: Select multiple threshold count fields by either dragging the cursor across to select consecutive threshold count fields, or press the CTRL key and select the desired threshold count fields.
    • Lock one record: Place your cursor in the desired threshold count field and click Lock.
  2. Click Lock to halt automatic approvals. The lock icon displays on the selected date to visibly denote locked fields.

    Locked values cannot be modified. To modify the value unlock the field.

  3. To resume automatic approvals, select the desired date or dates and click Lock to unlock automatic approvals. The lock icon withdraws from the selected date or dates.
