About Setup Leave Thresholds

The Leave Threshold Counts area in Setup is used to set automatic approvals for dynamic and varying leave requests.1
Organizations with fluctuating leave limits can now set how many people can take leave on any given day. Count thresholds and limit business logic rules can be configured in the Setup Leave Threshold area. Staffing or scheduling supervisors can control these leave exception counts as needed on the Threshold Calendar. 2

Leave request are automatically approved by the system if that leave request does not break your business rules and minimum count for the target date and entry.

Leave Threshold configuration items are Institution Focused when Institution Focus is turned on.

Requires the user to have authority permission Setup: Leave Threshold granted.

Requires the user to have authority permission Calendar: Leave Threshold Override granted. The person changing the leave thresholds do not necessarily have the authority to manipulate the configuration of what is being counted unless the person also has Setup: Leave Threshold granted.
