Work Code: Authority Field Descriptions

Field Name	Work Code ‘Authority’ Panel Field Description
Authority	This column contains all available Authorities defined in the Authority folder. The column title displays (in parenthesis) the number of authorities that have Add and/or Edit authority.
Allow Add	Select to enable users with the selected Authority role to add this work code. Additionally, the selected Authority must have permission to add work codes. No- disables this work code for the selected Authority role. Only as a Cover - Enables the cover area and allows users to select a replacement person and a work code for the selected Authority. Both the code being requested and the work code being used by the cover person must be set up properly prior to use. Note: When adding a work code across multiple days in which an acting authority activates, such as base access one day and administrative access another day, the list of work codes will contain work codes in common with both authorities.
Allow Edit	Enables people with the selected Authority role to edit this work code. Provided that the Authority has the permission to edit work codes.
