My Info: Penalty

The Penalty tab captures two sets of information: penalties and probationary periods.

The default name for this tab is “Penalty”. However, this tab allows for terminology and can be changed to something more meaningful to users when penalties do not apply to your organization. Additionally, this tab is sometimes named “Probation” when probationary periods apply.

The penalty section tracks penalty information such as the outcome of a job opportunity sent and /or declined. Penalty information is determined by your organization’s unique configuration. The probationary period section tracks a person’s probationary period, which can be used to prevent people from qualifying from certain jobs and or prevent the use of certain work codes.

Organizations may use penalties, probations, or a combination of both to set penalty and probation policies in this application. For instance, to track the number of refusals for each person and set a probationary period, the application could be configured to capture X instances of an employee refusing job opportunities. After a limit has been set, the application can then automatically place the employee on a probationary period which excludes them from job opportunities for a certain time period.
