Flexing Time

Important: Flex time work codes are used by employees who do not impact minimum staffing levels, and when allowed by your business policy.

Flexing time occurs when an employee is released from their regular scheduled assignment to work a different day, or another shift with no change in pay, or to change assignment locations for the day.

Flex time requires two work codes. A nonworking type work code (Flex Off); and a working type work code with Allow Roster Location Change enabled (Flex On).

To process this scenario, a person will need to first add the Flex Off work code to remove themselves from their regular shift assignment. Then add the Flex On work code on the new date and they will need to indicate when and where they will be working.
