About the Switch Feature

The Switch feature is available on the Roster to perform on-duty moves. Various modes activate based on the type of move you are performing. Mode choices are:

Switch - enables when two people are selected on the roster and used to switch assignments.
Move up or Move Down - enables when on-duty personnel is moved to a vacant position.
Copy Up or Copy Down - used to copy a person to a different location on the Roster.

The Switch panel displays who is being switched, where to, time-period, and the suggested work code. Additionally, switch actions may trigger dynamic and static issues accordingly.

Note:

Most notable static issue in Switch transactions is: Person is already working over the target period. To control the visibility of this issue, modify the static issue’s Edit severity level.
