Once the Auction is in action, the Bidding module works
through three phases and in this order:
- Bidding Phase - the first phase occurs when the bidders
enter their choices for the desired auction items.
- Winning Phase (Resolving Phase) - the second phase occurs after
the bidding phase when the bids are in. This phase confirms the
items won, but items are not secured or granted.
Note: Depending
on the desired configuration, bids are won either instantaneously, or
when the entire auction has closed or for each turn or for each
round of picks.
- Awarding Phase - the third and last phase occurs after the winning
phase. Auction items are secured and granted to the winners in this
phase. For example, vacation codes are now visible on the bidder’s
calendar and the Roster.
