Multi-Day: Define Work Code Counts

Multi-Day Totals and Headcounts are applicable to all institutions when more than one exists in a non-institution focus database environment.

In an institution focus database environment Totals and Headcounts are institution based, allowing work code counts to be defined by institution. The default behavior returns all regular duty, and working type codes; and excludes all nonworking work codes in the count.

To redefine which work codes contribute to Totals and Headcounts:

  1. Go to Setup > Organization.
  2. Choose the desired Institution.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Go to the Multi-Day Totals and Headcounts panel. Options are:
    • Exclude Working Work Code - the list shows working and regular duty work codes. The selected work codes will not count in Headcounts and Totals. This setting does not remove the work code from the view. For example, if you choose the Overtime work code, this means an Overtime work code will not count in the Totals and Headcounts tally, but will show as reference on the view.
    • Include Nonworking Work Code - the list shows non-working work codes. The selected work codes will count in Headcounts and Totals. For example, a Training work code may be set as a non-working code to create a vacancy for the person when used, however the person is still considered working and these hours count towards Headcounts and Totals.
  5. Click Save.
