Configure a Region

The name of each level in the organizational structure of this application can be renamed to reflect your organization’s structural hierarchy in Setup > General > Terminology. The Region level is the third level starting from the first.

To edit, clone, or create a new Region in the Organization section of the Setup area:

  1. Expand the Institution until you reach the Region level.
  2. Select a region and click Edit to modify the region; or select the region and click Clone to duplicate the region; or click Add Region to create a new one.
  3. Enter the day this region enables on the Roster in Active When. This field applies to a newly created region; not regions generated during the initial creation of the database. Both the Active When period and the Shift definition factor when this region appears on the Roster. This means, simply put, if the Active When starts on a Monday, and a shift definition starts on a Tuesday, then the region appears on the Roster on Tuesday.
  4. Configure the remaining settings as desired.
  5. Click Save.
