Resolve Institution Focus Shifts in Conflict

When Insititution Focus is turned on after shifts have been created, the appication will prompt you to assign the shifts to an Institution along with the option to automatically assign the shifts to an institution. Automatically assigning shifts to an institution is recommended when all of the shifts belong to a single institution and in the same timezone.

To assign shifts to an institution or institutions, choices are:
- Auto-Assign- The Assign and Save function assigns all of the shifts to all of the institutions. This function is most effective in a single timezone environment.
- Manual Process - Manually assigning the shifts to an institution is recommended when multiple institutions exist with varying shifts and timezones. Use the Shifts section of the Setup area to perform this task.
When done, go to System and select Institution Focus.
