Login Policy LDAP or AD

End-users can access this application via the web and workstation by using either the built-in security login policy, or by entering their domain ID and password using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or Active Directory (AD).

LDAP/AD and this application may be used to authenticate end-users using a defined domain to synchronize network passwords with this application.

Important: Both the user’s domain ID and their Login ID for this application must match. A change to a domain password in LDAP/AD resets the password for web access only.

Note:

A separate password is required to log into this application via the telephone when using LDAP/AD. To set a phone password use the password feature in the inbound call options; the password will be similar to a pin when using LDAP/AD.

Additionally, when a Login ID contains a special character use the asterisk on the telephone keypad to replace a special character; for example “John.Doe” would be entered as “John*Doe”. The asterisk on the telephone keypad indicates a special character.
