The Security area establishes a security plan for organizations.
This area prevents users from accessing sensitive data and gain
unauthorized use of the system.
System inheritance is transparent to the user and no action is
required other than successfully logging into the database.
The Security area contains the following:
- Login Policy - defines user passwords and controls how users
can log into the application. The Login Policy enforces the different
levels of access using a unique ID and password per user.
- Authority - controls what a user can accomplish upon
log in.
- Focus Filters - provide for the filtering of Setup items
within the Setup area.
