Tenant Properties

The Tenant Properties centralizes certain properties that were previously found in either the bidding.properties, integration.properties, security.properties, engine.properties, or workflow.properties file. 1Centralizing certain properties in one area eliminates input errors as editing one property will affect all instances of that property.

The Tenant Properties area is an On-Premise customers tool. This means any non On-Premise customers, such as KPC type customers, will not have the ability to edit properties directly inside the application. 2

Additionally, the ability to edit a property that appears on the Tenant Properties screen can be managed in the tenant.properties file located in the installation directory. All tenant properties listed in the tenant.properties file are editable from the Tenant Properties screen. To access the screen the user must have Tenant Properties granted in Authority Levels.

For example, to disallow accessibility and editing of a certain property, locate that property in the tenant.properties file and delete the property name, then save and restart the system for the changes to take effect. To allow editing, the property must appear on the tenant.properties file, if previously removed simply copy and paste the desired property that appears disabled from the Tenant Properties screen to the tenant.properties file, then save and restart the system to re-enable accessibility.

The default location is...

C:Program Files\<Application Name>\configuration\tenant.properties
